Area 23 is looking for freelance producer who specialize in the production of all live action / video content, including large scale tv production. Work on awards materials, medical education content, and doc style work with real people such as doctors, patients and caregivers.

The Producer is responsible for the management and production of any content that will deliver in a digital video (or radio) format, from concept through delivery. This includes managing the internal and / or external agency teams, as well as the third-party vendors necessary to create the best product for the client’s needs. The Producer is the expert project leader for any production assigned and is looked to for guidance in creating realistic and workable timelines, partnering with Business Affairs to bid vendors, create ballparks and estimates, then produce the video with all the necessary parties both enthusiastically and seamlessly. The Producer is confident and instills this confidence in her teams that obstacles can be overcome. The Producer should have expertise in interfacing with production, editorial, music, talent / casting and special effects vendors both within the US and sometimes worldwide. The Producer is also comfortable working within internal departments such as Pipeline and Motion Graphics, and knows collaboration is the key to success.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comfortable working within our production company - Studio RX, and knows collaboration is the key to success.
• Responsible for the management and production of any corporate / industrial production, some DTC / TV test commercials or radio commercials for any client
• Know the industry pool of resources for directors, editors, and music production vendors
• Identify appropriate vendors and partner with Broadcast Business Affairs team to ballpark, bid and estimate costs for production
• Manage and encourage the healthy communication between agency creatives, account services teams and clients as relates to production
• Liaise with agency business managers, talent and traffic departments to ensure best practices are followed and adhered to
• Partner with Business Managers to ensure that materials for trafficking TV commercial productions are properly prepared and legally cleared in time for airdates
• Establish and maintain strong and creative working relationships with internal teams (account managers and creatives) as well as external partners and vendors
• Develop and work towards an expansive and expert knowledge of international production
