Job Description :

• Manage and oversee the full Sea Freight function, ensuring operational excellence.
• Provide quotations to customers and negotiate rates with both customers and suppliers.
• Contribute to the continuous training and development of the team to achieve excellence.
• Attend to and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to maximize service delivery.
• Handle and resolve issues efficiently before escalating them to management.
• Ensure all operations meet government regulations and customer compliance requirements.
• Participate in meetings with customers and internal / external audits.
• Handle claims and conduct incident investigations, including preparing preventive reports.
• Manage supplier performance to meet operational and quality standards.
• Oversee the department's Profit and Loss (P / L) performance.
• Ensure the department’s staff, operations, and processes uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards.
