gpac is partnering with a leading logistics company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. The company specializes in providing innovative solutions in freight brokerage and intermodal transport. Our goal is to optimize supply chain management while delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to jump into projects quickly.
Role Overview : As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing intermodal freight operations. You will leverage your freight brokerage experience to support both inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and seamless coordination between transportation modes. This is a hybrid role that will require both remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in freight brokerage and be able to manage complex logistics tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate freight brokerage and intermodal transport operations from origin to destination.
- Manage and monitor shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Handle booking and tracking of shipments across various transport modes (truck, rail, sea).
- Negotiate with carriers to obtain the best pricing and transit times for shipments.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide ongoing support for logistics projects and be ready to jump in on new initiatives quickly.
- Analyze shipment data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, resolving issues related to shipment status, delays, or discrepancies.
