Summary :

Enru is looking for an experienced 3rd Party Freight Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead our external freight acquisition strategy by managing load board integrations, proactively booking freight, and identifying market opportunities to keep our fleet moving efficiently. This role requires a balance of freight management expertise, data analysis, and the ability to work closely with engineering to refine our freight optimization software. The ideal candidate will drive high-impact results through strategic planning and technical insight.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Head strategy to identify, integrate and optimize third party freight vendors : This includes brokers, shippers, marketplaces and hyper focused regional models.
• Create process for sourcing : Structure for identifying adhoc freight and ongoing freight needs. Ongoing needs must be identified, organized and put through formal sales / sourcing pipeline.
• Data-Driven Strategy : Analyze lane-level data and provide insights to anticipate freight availability within specific regions, boosting fleet productivity. Provide network insight and work strategically with Enru Brokerage team to create seamless strategy and execution
• Technology Integration : Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance software, including requirements for a statistical model predicting freight availability and improving data flow across systems.
• 3rd Party Relationship Management : Maintain relationships with third-party freight providers, API requirements, monitoring service, and ensuring a consistent and reliable freight pipeline. Create cadence of weekly reviews and QBRs.
• SOP Development : Partner with Sr. Manager – Digital Ops and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key freight operations surrounding 3rd party freight.
• Metrics Tracking : Monitor and report key performance indicators, including booking efficiency, cost metrics, and impact to utilization to drive continuous improvement.
