About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital
Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart and vascular and cancer care.
Scope of work
Under the supervision of their assigned preceptor and / or the license of their Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapy graduate : implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists patients of all ages with acute and chronic illness in returning to a productive life style.
Qualifications
- Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
- Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status. Required
- LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
