Job Title : Staff Software Engineer - Front End

Location : Pleasanton, CA (1 day onsite per week)

Employment Type : 6 Months Contract to Hire

Only : W2 or C2C (Self-Corp)

Pay Rate : $65–$75 per hour on W2

Salary Upon Conversion : $160,000–$170,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities :

Architect and develop scalable full-stack web applications, focusing on React / Next.js (front-end) and Node.js (back-end).
Build responsive, interactive UIs using React / Next.js with clean, modular code.
Develop efficient, event-driven services with Node.js.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers.
Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to best practices.
Optimize performance and address scalability challenges.
Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

4-8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

React / Next.js : 4+ years with state management, hooks, and responsive design.

JavaScript : 8+ years building scalable web applications

Node.js : 4+ years with RESTful APIs and GraphQL

Databases : Hands-on with relational (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)

Proficiency in API design, automated testing (e.g., Mocha, PyTest), and Git

Experience in Agile teams (Scrum / Kanban) with strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Passion for technical challenges and leadership in software development

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
