Join Optiline's expanding team as a Project Accountant, where you'll play a pivotal role as a financial specialist overseeing designated projects. Your key responsibilities include developing strong client relationships, navigating a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating the ability to work independently and as a team player. The primary role includes :
- Review and assist with creating project accounts in the accounting system.
- Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
- Ensure consistent billing and financial reporting at project levels by following established best practices, including preparing and submitting monthly AIA billing.
- Review and track project budgets; investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management.
- Effectively communicate with APM and PM's to determine monthly billing information updates.
- Prepare and revise elaborate client invoices; support effective client relationships and submit project invoices.
- Support analysis and report assigned projects' financial information.
- Work with Field Management on cost projections and expense tracking.
- Recommend and implement agreed process improvements to the billing cycle.
- Prepare special project analyses as needed.
