Salary
$23.00–$25.00 hourly
Job descriptionProven history of carpentry work on furniture pieces or related products Competent using wood working machinery, power tools and associated hardware. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Able to read and interpret work shop drawings, blue prints and assembly instructions to produce product as required Ability to work independently while setting production timelines to meet customer needs Knowledge of wood staining, prepping and finishing practices Strong leadership skills as lead of the millwork / furniture assembly team Fluent in English (Spanish beneficial but not essential) Forklift certified, or willing to complete a course upon hire Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), and weekends as production needs require Be part of a family legacy committed to innovation and integrity. Job Description
- Lead and supervise the millwork / furniture assembly team to achieve production goals.
- Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
- Inspect assembled products for quality and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop assembly schedules and timelines.
- Address and resolve issues during the assembly process.
- High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills during the production process.
- Assist with the warehouse team during down times, operating fork lift and preparing orders for shipment as required
