Your Role : As a Gas Meter Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for thoroughly checking gas meters for leaks and corrosion. Your duties will include conducting visual inspections and ensuring all necessary paperwork and data are completed accurately. You will also identify any abnormal operating conditions and fill out associated inspection forms (available in either electronic or paper format). Punctuality is key, as you are expected to report to your designated work area on time at the start of each shift.

Location : We are actively hiring, and positions are available in various areas.

Compensation : Starting pay is $18.00 / hr.

Position Details : This is a full-time, daytime position, and overtime may be required. Training will be provided in an engaging, instructor-led format, and weekend work may be necessary.

What We Seek : We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements :

Comfortable using current technology, including smartphones and tablets.

Effective communication skills in both one-on-one situations and group settings.

Willingness to work long hours and overtime during weekends as needed.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; prior outdoor experience is preferred.

Must pass a drug screening and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Proficiency in using basic hand tools and the ability to read utility maps.
