Grading Laborer

CR Jackson is seeking hardworking, dependable Grading Laborers to join our construction team. This position plays a vital role in supporting grading and site development operations on highway, utility, commercial, and residential construction projects throughout South Carolina.
Whether you have construction experience or are looking to start a career in the heavy civil construction industry, this is an opportunity to join a company that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
Position Summary
The Grading Laborer supports grading and earthwork crews by assisting with site preparation, utility installation, erosion control, drainage work, grade checking, and general construction activities. Team members work alongside equipment operators, foremen, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
This position requires a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.
