With 2 manufacturing plants and 27 distribution facilities across 20 states, we're seeking a dedicated Chemical Control Systems Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Unit Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing the processing of materials and the production of goods within an industrial setting. The Chemical Control Systems Operator will also be monitoring equipment, managing hazardous materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes. Primary Responsibilities & Duties :
- Help maintain a neat and orderly plant appearance.
- Assist maintenance and production departments in cleaning and painting of plant areas.
- Drive Company vehicle to retrieve parts and supplies from local vendors.
- Prepare drums and packaging materials.
- Assist other personnel in emergency conditions.
- Other Duties may be assigned.
- Job duties may also result in : Generate, handle, and / or inspect hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage. Respond or manage hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the site’s emergency action or contingency plan. Prepare and manage hazardous waste records such as manifests, inspection logs, waste determination and other reports.
