RQ construction is quickly becoming one of the leading players in the commercial & government industry on the East Coast. We are currently seeking General Laborer candidates with some Carpentry experience to join our team in the Norfolk, VA area.

As a General Laborer on a construction site, you will be responsible for performing tasks that involve physical labor using hand and power tools of all types. As a General Laborer, you may also assist other craft workers in their duties, while also cleaning and preparing sites, cleaning up rubble and debris, and removing other non-hazardous waste materials. In addition, this position may operate one or several types of power construction equipment. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. RQ Construction believes in the growth and development of our employees, so on the job training and certifications are provided per the projects needs for safety, equipment operations, etc. Prevailing wages will be paid for work performed on a military installation. $20-25 PH.
