GIS Analyst

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, through its Environmental Division, provides comprehensive planning, permitting, engineering, site assessment, and corrective action services to clients worldwide. Across multiple industries, our diverse staff specializes in the areas of siting / routing, construction management, air, water, waste, ecological, and cultural resources throughout our 50 offices located across the country and internationally. POWER Engineers is seeking a GIS Analyst to join our Mapping & Analysis team in our Boston, MA office location.

Roles and Responsibilities

This position provides GIS mapping and analysis support for environmental planning, permitting, and construction projects throughout the US. Candidate should be a self-starter with the desire and ability to take the lead on projects and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The GIS Analyst will provide support for projects including :

• Project-based task management
• Project coordination as it pertains to performing project tasks
• Data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting
• Data management and documentation
• Cartographic design and map production
• Web and mobile field surveys
• Quality assurance and control
