Job descriptionA minimum of 3 years experience in designing electrical systems for commercial and light industrial new constructions and renovations. Must be knowledgeable in electrical codes, regulations and engineering principles. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit to generate electrical plans. Must be familiar with current building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices in order to create efficient and compliant designs. Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is required.
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Designer to join an engineering consulting firm in Tuscaloosa, AL. The ideal candidates will have 2+ years of electrical design experience. This position is fully onsite and will be responsible for creating electrical designs used in a variety of projects, including light industrial and commercial constructions and renovations.
Responsibilities include :
- Create, modify, and maintain electrical plans, diagrams, and drawings for various electrical systems and components using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop and implement circuit designs, create wiring diagrams, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Compensation :
90,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
