Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Mammography Technologists to support operations at the VA Monterey Outpatient Facility located at 4524-4700 9th St, Marina, CA 93933. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.
Full-time, Part-time and PRN are considered for this position.

Responsibilities
Provides Diagnostic Mammography Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC
Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients
Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques
Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including :
Diagnostic mammography
Breast Imaging
Performs related administrative tasks
Float to GenRad as needed due the limited Mammo cases among a veteran population
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
ARRT(M) certification is required
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Mammography Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
Prior work experience with the Hologic mammographic system is preferred
No sponsorship available
Pay Range : $95 - $100.09 hourly
All candidates must be able to :
Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push / pull with 30 lbs of force
