This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (1 to 5 years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. The Registered Nurse Women's Health executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to the management of the Women's Health Program.

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Provide competent, evidence-based women's health care to assigned patients.
• Identify healthcare interventions and actions to assist patients explore long-range goals.
• Seek opportunities to participate in quality improvement activities related to provision of gynecology services.
• Partner with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to promote effective and safe transitions across the health care continuum.
• Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team.
• Supports colleagues through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality women's health nursing care.
• Participates in activities and strategies to sustain an evidence-based practice culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
