The ICUs include Trauma, Neuroscience, Surgical, Medical, Vascular, Cardiothoracic, Coronary Care, Burn, Adult ICU Step Down, and Pediatrics. TGH is a Level I Trauma Center, and a certified Regional Burn Center that excels in the care of critically ill patients.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Graduate of a BSN accredited School of Nursing required.
Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, preferred.
Adult Critical Care preceptorship, preferred.
This program rotates through adult Critical Care Units and includes the AACN's Essentials of Critical Care Orientation. Rotational, shift will vary.
Participants are required to sign a two-year commitment. Program Start date : January 19, 2026
