The Grant Writer is responsible for researching writing and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for the organization s programs and initiatives. This role involves working closely with program staff to develop compelling proposals that align with funders priorities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Research potential grant opportunities from foundations corporations and government agencies.
  • Write and submit highquality grant proposals and applications.
  • Develop budgets and supporting documentation for grant proposals.
  • Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders and grant officers.
  • Track and report on the status of submitted grants.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather information and develop proposal content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in English communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing and fundraising.
  • Strong research writing and editing skills.
