Position Summary
Northern New Mexico College Branch Community College seeks a Grant Coordinator for college workforce training projects, including grant management activities. Grant Coordinator reports to the Director of Career and Technical Education. The Grant Coordinator manages and coordinates the planning, implementation, and management of workforce grant and college-sponsored workforce and training activities at Northern New Mexico College campuses and additional locations to achieve the project's objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to workforce planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
- Manage associated grant budgets in coordination with the Director of Career and Technical Education and college finance. Prepare annual budgets, and manage all expenditure of funds ensuring appropriate utilization of funds.
- Coordinate and oversee equipment purchases.
- Develop appropriate tracking procedures and mechanisms for grant participants and develop and implement appropriate tracking procedures and follow-up on transfer students during and after the grant period.
- Maintain confidentiality of information exposed in the course of business regarding students, supervisors, or other employees.
- Develop strategies to institutionalize workforce initiatives at the College.
- Collaborate effectively with the Vice Presidents, Academic Deans, Grants Office, Chairs, and Directors, Center for Students Success and Advisement.
- Coordinate project efforts with the offices of Recruitment and Admissions and Distance Ed, Faculty Senate, and Staff.
- Collaborate with Continuing Education for projects and shared resources.
- Communicate project goals and objectives to all College constituencies and project collaborators.
- Issue quarterly reports summarizing progress for the college administration and others.
- Assists external evaluators and the internal monitoring team in ongoing formative and annual summative project evaluations.
- Manage program budgets in strict compliance with federal and state guidelines, authorize allowable expenditures and quarterly financial reports.
- Prepare and submit all reports required by the funding organizations.
- Communicate with funding partner program offices.
- Participate in the hiring of grant-funded personnel and provide administrative support.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
