As a nonprofit organization providing essential Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy services in the South Houston and Gulf Coast area, we are seeking a motivated Grant Development Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in securing funding that supports our mission to uplift and shape healthy communities. You will gain invaluable skills in grant writing, collaboration, and project management while enjoying a range of generous benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, including writing and editing.
- Conduct research and collaborate with staff for supporting information.
- Identify new grant opportunities aligned with MyCHN's strategic initiatives.
- Monitor project deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Support other grant writers in the Development Department.
- Assist with the Patient Satisfaction survey process.
- Prepare narrative documents, including the Annual Needs Assessment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer.
