POSITION : Grants Manager - Government

DEPARTMENT : "Advancement" (Gillis Campus / Hybrid)

Starting Salary : $55,000 - $68,000 (Annually)

Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES : This position will be responsible for serving as a lead on the agency's government grant work, with a focus on identifying, growing and managing new grant opportunities (city, county, state and federal), while contributing to and supporting the grant team's overall work, including charitable sources. Duties include strategizing grant requests with agency leaders and managing grant projects and applications to meet agency goals related to grant research, planning, funder relationships, solicitations, compliance and reporting. This position is part of the Advancement Team for the agency, whose charge is to fuel the engine to drive and advance Cornerstones of Care's mission through revenue growth, program partnerships, volunteer engagement, community collaboration, advocacy, brand management, strategic communication, fundraising, special events and charitable / government grants, with an intentional welcoming, inclusive, diverse and equitable lens. The role is part of a three-member grant team (director and two managers), who help secure over $1 million in annual charitable support and over $7 million in government grant funding.

QUALIFICATIONS : This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Social Services, or English / Literature, Three to five years in grant-writing experience or six to eight years in grant writing without degree. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
