Job description

Job Summary : The candidate will be responsible for producing high quality 3D assets and graphics.

Essential Job Functions : Responsible for maintaining productions visual style, quality bar, and performance / optimization standards. Compliance with production standards and metadata tagging required for asset re-use. Meeting company expectations through adherence to production, productivity, quality, and customer service criteria.

Required Education

  • 6 years of experience working in a real time production (game industry, serious games, simulation for training, etc.), or equivalent production experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent production experience.

Experience :

  • Minimum of Eight years of experience working in a real time production (game industry, serious games, simulation for training, etc.), or equivalent production experience.
  • Knowledge of the real-time art creation pipeline from concept to engine.
  • Skilled in hard surface asset creation.
  • Skilled with UV mapping.
  • Skilled in generating PBR materials and texture baking.
  • Experience with Substance Painter and Photoshop
  • Experience in realistically lighting scenes and setting up postprocessing for real-time in Unreal 5 or Unity.
  • Experience with a content creation package (ex : Autodesk Maya, Blender, etc.).
  • Experience with asset rigging.
  • Experience with shader / material graphs in Unreal 5 or Unity.
  • Ability to accurately model from photo references and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of general animation, motion capture pipelines, cleanup and retargeting.
  • Strong grasp of form, scale, proportions, and timing.
  • Strong understanding of game engines such as Unreal 5 or Unity.
  • Strong aptitude for learning 3D applications.
  • Knowledge of source control environments (SVN, Git, Perforce).
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to take constructive feedback.
  • Ability to document production processes.
  • Other Requirements :

    Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship status with the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.

    This is an in-office position, and some travel may be required.
