Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.Feb. 14, 2025Responsible for developing firmwide graphic standards for marketing purposes while also contributing graphic design work for projects (architecture, interiors, and urban design). Develop thoughtful visual content for storytelling to represent our highly diverse, active and creative design firm, while elevating the graphic identity of the company. Oversee the creation and execution of visual content that supports the firm’s branding, marketing, and project needs. Ensure that visual consistency is executed for all firmwide marketing efforts and projects. Manage a team of 2-3 direct reports, including scheduling and time tracking.Role and ResponsibilitiesBrand Standards / ManagementLead the development and evolution of CBT brand standards and visual identity, including design and documentation; ensure that these standards are implemented consistently throughout the firm.Create a cohesive visual representation that encompasses multiple narratives to bring a consistent graphic narrative to diverse projects, teams, and projects.Oversee external graphic communications, including proposals, brochures, booklets, and presentations.Oversee internal / firmwide graphic communications, including emails, digital displays, and intranet.Develop and implement design processes and standards to streamline workflows and maintain consistency across projects and teams, including graphic templates, tools, and digital asset libraries.Ensure that all design work aligns with the firm's brand and enhances its visual identity across all formats, media, and platforms including (print, digital, animation, illustration, typography, photography, and creative strategy).Create branding, experiential, and signage design for billable / project-based work.Design & ProductionPresent creative ideas and designs clearly and professionally in line with specific project goals and the vision for architectural, interior design, marketing, and urban design initiatives; execute on these ideas.Strategize with CBT’s Marketing Department on design and workflow for standard and custom marketing materials, including proposals, brochures, booklets, and presentations; monitor the application of these standards.Develop visual content for the website, social media, and other external-facing channels.Collaborate with architectural, urban design, and interior design teams to produce imagery / illustrations / diagrams, reports, and presentations.Edit and retouch photographs and videos.Experience, Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or similar.8+ years’ professional experience.Previous experience with Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry preferred.Mastery of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Proficiency in motion graphics and video editing.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and consensus-building skills.Strong typography, layout, and conceptual skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.Ability to design for web and interactive experiences. Ability to code is a plus.Familiarity with MS Office including Word and PowerPoint.Fluency in Windows OS; CBT is a PC-only office.
