Digital Marketing Specialist

ServiceMaster of Salem, a leading provider of fire, water, and mold damage restoration services, is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a locally owned company, we are dedicated to helping our community restore their properties and lives with exceptional service and expertise. This is an in-person position at our Salem office, Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Campaign Leadership: Design, lead, and oversee comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, SEM, display ads), ensuring alignment with broader business goals and brand strategy.
  • Content Strategy & Development: Create and implement a robust content calendar, producing high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for the website, blog, social media, and email marketing that resonates with our target audience.
  • SEO/SEM Strategy & Optimization: Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies and manage PPC campaigns with a focus on maximizing ROI, increasing organic traffic, and driving high-quality lead generation.
  • Social Media Growth & Engagement: Lead social media strategy to build brand awareness, foster community engagement, and monitor evolving social trends to keep the company at the forefront of digital conversations.
  • Lead Tracking and Analytics: Implement and maintain lead tracking systems to monitor lead sources, customer journeys, and conversion paths; analyze this data to optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI.
  • Data-Driven Analytics & Insights: Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to conduct in-depth campaign performance analysis, generate actionable insights, and present regular reports to leadership with clear recommendations for optimization.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization: Develop and refine digital funnels and landing pages to increase lead quality and conversion rates, collaborating closely with sales to ensure seamless lead nurturing.
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all digital platforms, ensuring messaging aligns with company values and market positioning.
  • Community & Partnership Engagement: Actively participate in local community initiatives and partnerships, leveraging these relationships to enhance brand reputation and digital content opportunities.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration & Vendor Management: Serve as a key liaison between marketing, sales, leadership, and external agencies or vendors to synchronize marketing efforts and maximize resource efficiency.
  • Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices; pilot new technologies and approaches to keep the company competitive and innovative.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple projects from conception to execution, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in digital marketing, preferably within the restoration or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content marketing, and email marketing
  • Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools, and email marketing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus
