Mill Storeroom Manager

Accountable for all aspects of storeroom inventory, including cycle counting, stock levels, ordering, requisitions, blanket POs, stock rotation, bin labeling, location, set-ups, returns, crediting, and obsolete inventory. This role reports to the Procurement Manager in the facility. Lead the personnel within the storeroom, including the buyer, coordinator, and clerks, by supervising, managing, and directing their activities. Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Maintenance and Production Directors.

Position responsibilities include maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, participating in the Macon MRO team, functioning as a departmental liaison, managing departmental seniority, and overseeing data integrity. The role also involves managing inventory control cycle counts, expired chemicals, and supply vending machine programs, among other duties.

Position requirements include a background in purchasing, inventory management or business management, a bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience, ERP experience (SAP preferred), leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
