Job description3D Modeling : Develop accurate and detailed 3D models of substation equipment and components using CAD software and 3D modeling tools. Animation Development : Create high-quality animations demonstrating assembly, disassembly, and operational procedures of substation equipment. Training Visualizations : Produce interactive and realistic visual content for training programs, enhancing understanding of equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and operational workflows. 3D Printing Preparation : Design 3D models suitable for 3D printing, including optimizing models for scale, material, and printing technology. Technical Collaboration : Work closely with engineering and training teams to translate technical drawings, schematics, and specifications into engaging and educational visual content. Rendering and Post-Production : Generate photorealistic renders and apply finishing touches through post-production techniques. Project Management : Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. Education : Bachelor's degree in 3D Design, Animation, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Proven experience in 3D modeling and animation, particularly in industrial or technical environments. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, SolidWorks, or similar. Experience with animation software like After Effects, Cinema The Client, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of rendering techniques and tools such as KeyShot, V-Ray, or Unreal Engine. Familiarity with CAD software and the ability to work with technical drawings and schematics. Experience with preparing models for 3D printing, including STL or OBJ file formats. Attention to Detail : Ability to create precise and accurate models and animations of substation equipment. Creative Problem Solving : Innovative thinking to visualize and animate complex electrical and mechanical processes clearly. Communication Skills : Ability to explain design concepts and technical processes to non-technical stakeholders, especially in training contexts. Preferred Qualifications : Experience in the energy or utility sector, specifically with substation equipment or electrical infrastructure. Knowledge of simulation tools for demonstrating mechanical or operational processes.
