Graphic Designer

At Safework Inc., we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.

Responsibilities / Duties

• Will combine artistic skill and technology to produce computer generated artwork in a variety of media.
• Work closely with other team members, clients, and stakeholders to produce high-quality designs that meet deadlines
• Creating materials by use technology and creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts and designs
• Designing brochures, billboards, brochures, web pages, advertising for a variety of media formats and annual reports
• Generating drafts and mockups of proposed designs for the client to review and make revisions as requested
• Follow technical specifications to produce precise and accurate artwork.
• Create digital images, such as digital photography and video, for use in print publications, on the web, and for other marketing purposes. Digital media specialists may also research and recommend emerging digital media technologies.
• Create the look, layout, and features of a website, and handle maintenance and additions.
• Capture high-quality photographs for various projects, including events, portraits, product shoots, and more.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each shoot. Filming : Capture high-quality video content for different projects, including live streaming events
• Planning : Plan and set up video shoots, including lighting and audio equipment
• Editing : Edit raw footage into polished videos, adding special effects, computer graphics, and closed captioning
• Collaboration : Work with creative teams and clients to develop video concepts
• Organization : Manage video archives and organize footage
• Content creation : Creating and publishing content for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Scheduling : Creating and updating social media posting schedules
• Audience engagement : Responding to comments, liking tagged photos, and monitoring site metrics
• Brand awareness : Building brand awareness and promoting brand exposure
• Marketing : Coordinating with other professionals to market a brand and its products or services
• Strategy : Updating social media strategy to keep up with current trends
• Reporting : Creating and interpreting reports on social media performance
• Collaboration : Collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions
• Content management : Create, edit, and remove content, including blog posts, images, videos, and reviews
• Website development : Create new pages and functionality, and implement plugins and code solutions
