Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor oversees Boilers, Turbine-Generator, and Natural Gas for the auxiliary boiler. This role requires experience with Lock-out Tag-out procedures and the ability to follow emergency procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for program operation and instruction in Massachusetts.
• Ensure in-house continuing education of staff as required by state regulations.
• Maintain a professional engineering environment where skills and experience contribute to overall plant safety, EPA compliance, and operations and maintenance.
• Work well under pressure and demonstrate dedication to completing tasks under difficult circumstances.
• Identify and resolve problems to improve overall shift efficiency.

Qualifications

Salary base is $145,000 + Bonus + Health Benefits as of day 1 of employment + 401K incentives and educational assistance. MA Maritime graduates are encouraged to apply. Requires a MA 2nd Class Engineers License.
