OVERVIEW :
Under the supervision of the Shelter Deputy Director, the Shelter Shift Leader will assure that the day to day functions of the shelters are met. Responsible to maintain cleanliness and order of Shelter building and grounds during the shift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
CLIENT SERVICES
- Responsible for overall supervision of the other shelter monitors
- Ensures that adequate and appropriate intakes / screening are performed
- Guests are onboarded properly
- Responsible for meals being served
- laundry and showers are working and available during assigned hours
- Outside service providers are facilitated in their meetings with guests
- Responsible for all documentation on shift, population statistics, incident reports, and staff log
- Responsible for coordination of monitors and orientation of new monitors on shift
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all dorms, bathrooms, kitchens and sleeping areas
- Assist driving in town for shelter assignments
