IAP Worldwide Services, Inc External Facility Manager McLean, Virginia Apply Now The Grounds Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the Project Buildings, Landscaping Grounds, and Pest Control operations and maintenance.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Administers general policies and procedures and supervises the operation of all aspects of Landscaping, Ground and Pest Control Operations.Responsible for compliance of inspections regarding Landscaping and Ground Operations and Maintenance.Knowledge of Pest Control regulations.Thorough knowledge of the equipment and machinery used in areas of Landscaping and Grounds.Manage the care and maintenance of lawns, shrubs, hedges, tree removal, planting and spraying, and weed eradication.Manage grounds maintenance crew in campus clean-up projects and assist in special events projects as required, including scheduling daily activities, managing appropriate leaves, supervision of duties, and inspection of duties.Facilitates planning, coordinating, directing, and controlling activities performed by landscaping personnel.Maintain proper training levels and records (Asbestos, MSDS, Confined Spaces).Responsible for administration of energy programs and coordination of facilities plans and needs with the Project management team.Responsible for coordinating responses to after-hour emergency calls, i.e. building alarms, police, fire, maintenance.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Minimum of a high school diploma with seven (7) years’ experience in the following : Landscaping Ground maintenance.Landscaping Machines operations and maintenance.Pest Control.CLEARANCE : Active Top Secret SCI W / PolyIntrepid Global Solutions, LLC. is an EOE, including disability / vets.
