Groundskeeper
Groundskeeper is required to maintain the clean and neat appearance of assigned areas, focusing on the exterior of the property and its grounds. Duties and essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and / or polish floors and individual building common areas, using brooms, mops, and / or power scrubbing, power washing and waxing machines.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Complete all required forms and work orders.
- Routinely inspect common areas to ensure they are maintained clean and in an aesthetically appealing condition by painting when necessary.
- Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition.
- Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
- Wash outdoor walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
- Report any and all maintenance items which include, but is not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the Building Maintenance Department.
- Observe precautions required to protect Residents, guests and property, and report damages, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
