Job Description
Iowa Sports Management's Instructors provide customized fitness programs for group class settings. They hold nationally recognized certifications and stay up-to-date on new fitness trends in order to best serve their clients. They maintain relationships with current clients, log sessions, and communicate with the General Manager to help facilitate program growth and company standards.
Other Primary Tasks
Keep up-to-date with new and popular training techniques and specializations.
Arrive on time for classes ready to teach.
Prepare workouts and materials (music, etc.) prior to classes.
Secondary Tasks
Abide by varying rules and regulations in different facilities and be able to adjust workouts accordingly.
Be familiar with various brands and types of exercise equipment.
Be available in different locations and able to travel to different clients.
Qualifications Needed
Current nationally recognized certification and American Red Cross CPR certification or equivalent.
Available to work early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.
Ability to interact in a friendly, personal, and professional manner with patrons and clients.
Ability to demonstrate exercises for clients.
