Job descriptionBachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. 5+ years of experience in civil or environmental field. Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, registered in Texas, required, or able to obtain licensure in Texas within 6 months. Valid Driver's License with and acceptable driving record. Background will ideally include related project work in water infrastructure. This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more Candidates should be skilled in managing multiple priorities, organizing time and projects, tracking budgets, and meeting deadlines. Your Role :
- Assist with the execution of projects from conceptual planning phases through final plans, specifications, and estimates, bid packages, and construction support services.
- Write technical specifications and technical reports for infrastructure-related projects for stormwater pipelines and facilities.
- Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new project opportunities.
- Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
- Identify alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
- Achieve financial targets in relation to project profitability and utilization.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
