A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to manage patient balances and financial discussions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and collect outstanding patient balances while discussing payment options
Monitor unpaid balances and assist patients in understanding their financial obligations
Handle escalated patient account issues and complete necessary reporting and analysis
Required Qualifications
1 year of customer service experience in healthcare
1 year of billing experience
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
Familiarity with billing and coding regulatory guidelines
Access to a private work environment with high-speed internet for remote work
