  • Make Safety your Priority : Supervise a group of 6-12 campers and ensure a safe and welcoming space for all.

  • Stay Committed : Be part of the full camp experience through September 1, helping create summer memories that last a lifetime.
  • What you'll need :

  • Experience working with children (preferred but not required - we TRAIN you)!
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (must be 18 years or older).
  • CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Safe certifications (expectations to obtain within 60 days).
  • Must complete successful background screening and health screenings for YMCA.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit (including on the floor), and participate in all physical activities for long periods of time.
  • Capability and comfort level to participate in outdoor activities and swimming as guided by camp leadership.
  • You'll Gain

  • Leadership and communication skills that apply to any career path
  • Conflict resolution, team coordination, and facilitation experience
  • Time outdoors, creative agency, and a sense of purpose
  • A network of supportive peers and mentors
  • The joy of knowing you made a difference in a child's life
