A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Hadoop Developer .

Position type : Contract

Duration : 18 Months

Location : Chicago, IL & Denver, CO (5 Days Onsite)

As a Hadoop Developer , you will :

Join the Big Data Engineering team to design, build, and optimize batch and near-real-time data pipelines using Spark, streaming, and distributed big-data platforms .

This role is intended for hands-on Big Data Engineers , not BI or reporting-only profiles.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong SQL experience (MySQL, Hive, Impala, Spark SQL)
• Hands-on Apache Spark development
• Spark Structured Streaming experience
• Data ingestion from Kafka / message queues, files, REST APIs, and relational databases
• Experience with data formats : JSON, CSV, XML
• Hadoop & distributed systems experience
• Hands-on programming in Scala or Python (Shell / PHP as secondary)
• Linux proficiency
• End-to-end design and build of batch and near-real-time data pipelines

Experience with Git / Bitbucket / SVN
