Job details Entry-Level Finishing Technician (Deburr) in San Jose, CA
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:
Operate Equipment: Use hand tools, power tools, and grinding machinery (pedestal grinders, belt sanders) to remove burrs and sharp edges from metal parts.
... Surface Finishing: Blend, polish, and smooth metal surfaces to meet required technical and cosmetic specifications.
Quality Inspection: Visually inspect finished components and use basic measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Safety & PPE: Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and consistently wear required PPE (safety glasses, masks, hearing protection).
Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform basic routine upkeep on tools and equipment
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Relevant Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machine shop, or metal fabrication environment.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical blueprints, engineering drawings, or technical schematics.
Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with a variety of abrasives, grit sequences, and precision finishing techniques for different metal types.
Measurement Skills: Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or go/no-go gauges.
Detail Orientation: Attention to detail with a proven track record of meeting strict cosmetic and dimensional quality standards
