Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s / University degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in a quantitative role within Risk Management at a financial institution with experience in either Model development or validation.
• Good knowledge and understanding of a variety of model development and validation testing techniques covering risk models, including time series models.
• Experience in model development, lifecycle management, and model validation including Performance monitoring and documentation.
• Practical experience using Python or similar statistical software to run model performance test.
• Proficiency in handling very large data sets.
• Familiarity with macroeconomic data (such as GDP and unemployment rates).
• Good data analytics, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
