Job Title : Hazmat Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hazmat Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will not be afraid to get their hands dirty, handling tasks such as drum pickups and lab packs. You will be responsible for outlining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring efficiency in daily operations. This role requires a clean driving record, self-discipline, and a desire to improve oneself.

Responsibilities

• Perform drum pickups and lab packs
• Outline and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure efficiency in daily operations
• Follow instructions accurately and consistently
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Self-discipline and a desire to improve oneself
• Potential to work weekends for Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) events

Work Environment

You will be working at different client sites after completing assignments at our own site. The work hours are from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM, with potential weekend work for HHW events. The role requires the ability to shave and wear a respirator.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 / hr.
