The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader passionate about seafood, Italian cuisine, and high-volume excellence. You'll oversee kitchen operations, menu execution, and team development - ensuring consistency, quality, and the culture that defines The Daily Catch brand.
About The Daily Catch
Founded in 1973 in Boston's North End , The Daily Catch is a family-owned Sicilian seafood and pasta institution known for authentic East Coast flavors and craftsmanship. With three Boston restaurants and a seafood wholesale business, we're proud to bring our heritage to the West Coast with our first California location - opening in Pasadena in December 2025 .
We will be serving fresh New England seafood flown in multiple times per week and prepared with our classic Sicilian recipes, that have satisfied seafood lovers for over 50 years!
Responsibilities
- Oversee all back-of-house operations : prep, service, sanitation, and safety.
- Lead and mentor a professional kitchen team.
- Execute all menu items with precision and authenticity.
- Manage vendor relationships, food costing, and inventory.
- Create seasonal specials using East Coast seafood and California ingredients.
- Collaborate with ownership on menu development and profitability goals.
- Uphold brand standards for quality, presentation, and hospitality.
