Job descriptionProven experience in pricing strategy, financial analysis, and project management, preferably in a leadership capacity. Ability to distill complex analytics and scenarios into compelling narratives with recommendations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively and a sense of urgency to move quickly. Ability to analyze large data sets and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency. Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity, and a fast-changing dynamic work environment. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or management, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience. Proficiency with all Microsoft office products; SQL experience preferred. Ability to work independently but also on a team; balancing multiple priorities and tasks. Deep understanding of the Commercial and Consumer Banking businesses is preferred but not required. Head Of Pricing Strategy
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and strategic individual to join the Corporate Treasury team as Head of Pricing Strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, implementation, and optimization of loan and deposit pricing initiatives across the organization. This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Pricing and Profitability and serve as a key liaison for the pricing and profitability teams. The candidate will work closely with front-line Bankers, Treasury, Finance, Product, Marketing and other support teams to drive the execution of the overall pricing strategy and ensure alignment with our strategic goals and market positioning. This position requires strategic forethought and the ability to quickly shift into the analytical details to ensure decisions are backed by foundationally accurate data.
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist the Director of Pricing and Profitability in defining and executing the company's pricing strategy to maximize revenue and market share, supporting overall strategic objectives.
- Help oversee the execution of and serve as a key liaison for loan and deposit pricing initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and leadership expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies within pricing functions, fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability.
- Partner with bankers and portfolio managers across the regional and specialty bank to help inform commercial pricing decisions.
- Maintain oversight of in-house and third-party insights and pricing platforms to ensure effective ongoing utilization.
- Monitor exception pricing performance and analytics, ensuring performance within appetite.
- Monitor the competitive environment, ensuring end-to-end awareness of market conditions and that First Horizon's pricing approach aligns with strategic and business objectives.
- Develop pricing communications and training materials (as needed) for front-line use.
