Job descriptionProven success in negotiating and closing commercial transactions. Full-cycle development experience in ERCOT Strong knowledge of the solar industry and regional regulations. They are looking to expand their development team, with this role focusing on utility-scale solar and battery development in ERCOT, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
Responsibilities
- Originate solar and battery projects by securing site control and evaluating interconnection, permitting, and revenue opportunities.
- Identify and negotiate partnerships or acquisitions with early-stage developers.
- Lead greenfield development, leveraging GIS tools to identify attractive sites.
- Secure land agreements with landowners for development opportunities.
- Conduct market research to shape strategy and identify revenue streams.
- Coordinate inputs from Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management teams.
