They are looking to expand their development team, with this role focusing on utility-scale solar and battery development in ERCOT, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
Responsibilities
Originate solar and battery projects by securing site control and evaluating interconnection, permitting, and revenue opportunities.
Identify and negotiate partnerships or acquisitions with early-stage developers.
Lead greenfield development, leveraging GIS tools to identify attractive sites.
Secure land agreements with landowners for development opportunities.
Conduct market research to shape strategy and identify revenue streams.
Coordinate inputs from Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management teams.
Qualifications
Proven success in negotiating and closing commercial transactions.
Full-cycle development experience in ERCOT
Strong knowledge of the solar industry and regional regulations.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s preferred.
