Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Job Summary:As a Technician II - Security with Paladin Technologies / Bosch Building Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.
This role requires the ability and know-how to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the BOM, and be capable of making adjustments or finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance Prepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needs Assist in system design and layout Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation Support, lead, and mentor team membersMaintain a high level of safety and professionalismManage a team of junior technicians as necessaryWork at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.Work in confined spaces as necessary.Other Duties As Assigned
Required Qualifications:3 - 5 years prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry Ability to work on elevated platforms and laddersExcellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry Ability to lift 50lbs consistently Able to work independently Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset Vendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferred

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.
Additional Information: Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
