New Heights Charter School is Massachusetts only public school that involves all grades (6-12) in the Early College approach. Nearly all our 11th and 12th graders are full-time students on a college campus with younger students earning college credits at the school. At New Heights we respect and honor all community members their diverse backgrounds knowledge and Heights has a very competitive teacher pay scale that starts at $50k for those with a Bachelors $60k for those with a Masters and $65k for those with a Doctorate Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plan prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning in core content elective and advisory periods.

Use technology to support and differentiate instruction.

Maintain a safe orderly and supportive classroom by teaching and establishing routines and rituals.

Encourage monitor and provide feedback on the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.

Maintain accurate and complete grade books and other anecdotal records of students academic and behavioral progress and development.

Provide consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and behavior through phone or electronic means and at parent and teacher conferences.

Participate in department and school meetings and events instructional coaching parent conferences and leadership opportunities for teachers.

Perform other duties as assigned.
