Job Description
You will be the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist for our team. Our team is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies, while promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
What You Will Be Doing
As the EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting and complying with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include :
- Interpreting and complying with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies
- Assisting in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet new environmental and safety requirements
- Finding, evaluating, and preparing contracts for hazardous disposal firms
- Represent the ESH organization across multiple levels of the company and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate ESH strategy and objectives to a diverse employee population.
- Assist in shaping the ESH culture within their areas of responsibility and assure full compliance with all applicable ESH requirements.
- Build effective relationships and trust with key stakeholders and business partners thus driving program enhancements.
- Assist with the site’s ESH management system elements and support development and reporting of metrics and performance data.
