MAINTENANCE WORKER - GLADMAN MHRC

Gladman is licensed as a 40-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) providing sub-acute psychiatric treatment to adults 18 and older.
Shifts Available :
Full Time; AM 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm; Tuesday - Saturday
Expected starting wage is $21.10 Hourly
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

MISSION STATEMENT
Telecare will deliver and manage excellent services and systems of care for persons with serious mental illness.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Maintenance Worker is the staff member that performs tasks that involve the facility physical plant, equipment and grounds maintenance. These duties encompass a variety of carpentry, electrical and environmental services assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of experience as a building maintenance worker, handyperson, boiler worker or in a related position is required. Experience in a health care setting is preferred. High School graduation or a G.E.D. is also required. Necessary skills include knowledge of and ability to perform in the areas of : plumbing, carpentry, masonry and electrical, heating and air conditioning repair. The ability to read, write and speak English is essential, as is the willingness to work with adult mentally impaired persons. The incumbent must have a valid Class II California Driver's License and be insurable. Applicant must be finger printed and receive clearance from Criminal Justice Department.
