You welcome a challenge and are always ready to support others on their benefits journey with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind. / ph3What Youll Do / h3pCollect data from various sources to create reports that show health and benefits program cost projections. / ppReview the carrier underwriting process, ensuring that calculations are using correct rates and assumptions. / ppAppeal incorrect carrier calculations, ensuring that rates are derived accurately. / ppWork with client claims experience data to create reports showing budgeted vs. actual claims and any cost variances. Develop rate structure recommendations based upon trend analysis and data observation. / ppDevelop benchmarking reports that show how a specific clients health and benefits program compares to industry and geographic peers. Examine multiple data points, giving clients a complete understanding of how various program factors compare to those at other organizations. / ppMonitor and direct software analytics and tools. / ppCreate financial analysis plans and templates that can be utilized by personnel statewide when compiling and analyzing client information. / ppParticipate in client meetings, providing expertise when appropriate. Contribute ideas and knowledge during internal business development meetings. / ppAnalyze claims experience, utilization trends, and demographic data. / ppPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and documentation for health insurance plans. / ppSupport forecasting activities for health insurance portfolios. / ppCollaborate with underwriting and finance teams to illustrate assumptions and projections. / ppParticipate in special projects such as self-funded feasibility analysis and renewal projections. / ppAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes. / ph3What Youll Need / h3pBachelors degree / pp5+ years experience with a major Health and Benefits firm / ppExperience with Health and Benefit claims projections and analysis / ppStrong underwriting and financial services knowledge / ppAbility to participate effectively in a team sales process, including the ability to give client presentations / ppProficient in Microsoft computer applications, including advanced Excel skills / ppExperience with simulation and prediction generating software / ppExcellent written and verbal communication skills / ppAbility to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses as required by state regulations and Frost policies / ppAdditional Preferred Skills : / pp10+ years experience with a major Health and Benefits firm / ph3Our Benefits / h3pAt Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
