Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations for a growing multi-state organization. The Payroll Administrator will process weekly payroll maintain accurate employee records ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and partner closely with HR and Finance for audits reporting and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for employees across multiple states

Maintain accurate payroll records including new hires terminations and status changes

Review and validate timekeeping data ; resolve discrepancies with supervisors

Ensure full compliance with federal state and local wage and hour laws

Manage payroll tax withholdings deductions and garnishments

Prepare and distribute payroll reports for HR Finance and leadership

Reconcile payroll accounts and support internal and external audits

Collaborate with benefits administrators to ensure correct benefit deductions

Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive payroll data

Recommend and implement process improvements within payroll operations

Qualifications

3 years of payroll experience; manufacturing or aerospace preferred

Strong understanding of multi-state payroll regulations

Experience with ADP Paycom Paychex or similar payroll platforms

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools

Exceptional attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

Experience supporting aerospace MRO or regulated industries is a plus

Familiarity with timekeeping systems and payroll audit practices

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Standard office environment within an aerospace manufacturing / MRO setting

Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer throughout the shift

Occasional travel to production areas may be required
