Overview
Care Assistants provide basic, uncomplicated patient care and assist with unit / department operations under the supervision of registered nurses. Assignment of job responsibilities are as delegated by registered nurses assigned to supervise the care assis

Responsibilities
- Provides supportive patient care.
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations.
- Unit Secretary / clerical functions.
- Attends education programs, unit meetings and assigned committees.
- Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skills)

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.15 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
