Maintenance Supervisor
The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to work at our Papago Park Campus, but have the flexibility to travel to our Sunnyslope Campus and South Mountain Campuses. This individual must be willing to work weekends.

A Day in the Life :
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees, and works alongside, staff performing maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds, including plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems. Keeps premises safe and comfortable for the animals, the public and employees. The Maintenance Supervisor will work with the Director of Fleet and Facilities on plans for the facilities' growth. The Maintenance Supervisor will manage projects with vendors, contractors and suppliers as needed. They may be called for facilities related after-hours emergencies.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, have dexterity to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to walk and be on feet the majority of the day.
There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; wet floors, animal noises, odors and dander. Time is divided between typical air conditioned and heated office environments and the outdoors.
